BUNWELL GREYHOUND STADIUM

This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for helping to construct this page. 

The tiny South Norfolk village of Bunwell had a greyhound track on the Turnpike Road and first opened for racing in 1935. The independently run track was situated at 1° 7' E 52° 29' N and raced on 3 nights each week, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The track closed in 1940 and never reopened after the War had ended. The site on which the former track once stood is now a recreation ground.
